OUR STORY. OUR VALUES. OUR SHARED PURPOSE.

WE ARE ONE NORTH.
TOGETHER, WE MOVE FORWARD.

We bring people together through civic awareness, constructive dialogue and peaceful participation. Our shared future begins with the conversations we open and the commitments we make together.

01 / WHO WE ARE

Our movement. Our purpose.

We are One North Movement, a youth-led political advocacy platform rooted in Northern Nigeria. We bring civic awareness, community dialogue and a commitment to shared progress into one conversation.

We came together in Abuja for our first public forum in February 2026. That gathering gave us a platform to share our political direction, open new conversations and set out the priorities that guide our work.

We believe participation grows when people understand the issues, hear one another and have a meaningful place in the democratic process.

02 / OUR POLITICAL DIRECTION

Our stand is clear.

We support Bola Ahmed Tinubu's re-election in 2027.

We stand for peaceful participation, informed choices and constructive engagement. We are committed to helping people understand government policies and take an active part in democratic life.

Our programme includes voter education, awareness of Permanent Voter Cards, town hall discussions and conversations about policies affecting the economy, security and employment.

03 / WHAT GUIDES US

Our values in action.

We stand for unity.

We bring different voices into a shared conversation. We value understanding across communities and recognise the strength of working together.

We choose peaceful participation.

We encourage civic engagement grounded in democratic principles and respect for the rule of law. We believe constructive dialogue gives every conversation a better chance of moving forward.

We believe in opportunity.

We are committed to education, skills development and entrepreneurship as part of our wider vision for shared progress.

We put community at the centre.

We value care, dignity and peaceful coexistence. We seek relationships with community leaders and civil society that help turn shared purpose into practical engagement.

04 / OUR PRIORITIES

The work that moves us.

  • We promote civic participation. We champion voter education, PVC awareness and peaceful engagement in democratic life.
  • We build policy awareness. We open conversations about government policies and the issues that affect everyday life.
  • We support opportunity. We place education, skills development and entrepreneurship among our priorities.
  • We strengthen community dialogue. We work towards greater understanding, cooperation and peaceful coexistence.

Our Abuja forum

Our first public forum brought us together to share our direction and place our civic priorities at the heart of the movement.

Our community commitment

During Ramadan, we joined the City Boy Movement in a fasting relief initiative that included prayer mats to support worship. We see community wellbeing as part of a wider commitment to dignity, care and peaceful coexistence.
